Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: October 11, 2025
Website: https://chirotwentytwo.com.au

1. Purpose

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which Chiro Twenty Two (“we”, “us”, “our”) manages appointment cancellations, missed appointments, and refunds for chiropractic services.
Our goal is to provide fair and transparent guidelines while maintaining the efficiency of our clinical operations.

2. Appointment Bookings

Appointments may be made:

  • In person at our clinic; or

  • Online via our website booking system.

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
By booking an appointment, you agree to abide by the terms of this Refund and Cancellation Policy.

3. Payments

All payments for chiropractic consultations and related services are processed over the counter at the clinic at the time of your appointment.
We accept cash, EFTPOS, and other approved payment methods as displayed in the clinic.

No online or advance payments are required when booking through our website.

4. Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances occasionally arise which require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
To ensure fairness and allow us to offer appointments to other clients, we request at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes.

You can cancel or reschedule by:

  • Calling the clinic during business hours; or

  • Using the confirmation link or contact details provided in your booking email.

Late Cancellations or Missed Appointments

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a late cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the standard consultation fee.

  • Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice (“no-show”) may incur a full consultation fee.

These fees are at the discretion of Chiro Twenty Two and are payable before further appointments can be scheduled.

5. Refunds

As payments are processed over the counter for professional health services rendered, refunds are generally not provided once treatment has been completed, except as required by law.

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • If a service was paid for but not received (e.g., an appointment cancelled by the clinic without rescheduling);

  • If payment was made in error; or

  • If required under the Australian Consumer Law due to a failure in the service provided.

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method wherever practicable.

6. Clinic-Initiated Cancellations

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to practitioner illness, emergencies, or unforeseen events.
In such cases:

  • We will make every reasonable effort to notify you as soon as possible; and

  • Any pre-paid fees (if applicable) will be fully refunded or transferred to a future booking, as per your preference.

7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund or replacement if a service has a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
If the failure is minor, we will, at our discretion, re-supply the service or provide an appropriate remedy.
